Who we are

Information we collect

We collect account details such as your email address, username, display name, authentication records, profile content, uploaded media, page settings, and support communications. If you subscribe, we retain billing identifiers and subscription status, while payment-card details are handled by Stripe.

For public-page visitors, we record page views and link clicks together with limited technical context such as time, referring site, broad device/browser category, and—when available—coarse country or region. Contact and signup forms collect the fields the visitor chooses to submit.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, publish creator pages, authenticate users, process subscriptions, deliver requested emails, display analytics, detect abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers and disclosures

We use vendors such as Supabase for database, authentication and storage; Stripe for billing; Resend for transactional email; and our hosting and DNS providers. They process information for us under their own contractual and security terms. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential authentication cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember the page or workspace you are editing, preserve signup choices, and measure the steps visitors complete before publishing a page. Public analytics are designed to avoid unnecessary personal data and do not require advertising cookies.

Retention and security

We keep account content while an account is active and for only as long afterward as reasonably needed for backup, fraud prevention, legal, or operational purposes. Analytics retention varies by plan. We use access controls, Row Level Security, encrypted transport, restricted server credentials, and file validation, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can update profile data, unpublish pages, remove content, and delete your account from the dashboard. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information, or to complain to a regulator. Children and international use

chip & cheer is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate, and the effective date above will be updated.
